Huancayo is a city located 300 kilometers from Lima. In the Central Andes of Peru, it lies in the Mantaro Valley at 3,259 meters above sea level. It enjoys a privileged location connecting the Central Andes with Lima, the capital, and the central jungle. It boasts a pleasant, temperate, and stable climate and is a city that combines the traditional culture of the Andean villages with the modernity of large cities without losing its native cultural essence. The valley is an important cultural, economic, and social center, surrounded by towering snow-capped mountains and home to numerous indigenous communities, primarily dedicated to agriculture, crafts, and commerce, with numerous colorful traditional markets and fairs.
Where We Work
Currently, our project is located in the city of Huancayo, in the Mantaro Valley, in the Peruvian Andes. This inter-Andean valley is the largest in Peru. Besides its strategic location in the very heart of Peru, it is characterized by the exceptional beauty of its diverse landscapes, rivers, farmlands, and the enormous snow-capped peaks that surround it. Andean villages abound, radiating diverse Andean cultural expressions and traditions that still endure in the daily lives of its friendly and cheerful people.

How to get there from Lima:
In both cases, we can coordinate your pick-up and transfer from the Lima or Huancayo airports to our project in Huancayo. We will gladly accompany you depending on our availability, or if you prefer, you can arrange this service with us.
By bus:
You can take a direct bus from Lima to Huancayo. The trip takes approximately 8 hours. We recommend official bus companies for safety and comfort. Departures and arrivals are every 24 hours. We can recommend several bus companies and meet you at the Huancayo bus station.
By plane:
This is the method we most recommend. The trip takes only about 35 minutes and is hassle-free, as flights depart directly from Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima to Francisco Carlos Airport in Jauja, a city near Huancayo.
